The best
way to keep your remedies fresh it to keep
them out of direct sunlight and hot air flow
areas.
It is ok
to carry your remedy to work/school/ or when
your out and about, just try not to leave
you bag sitting in direct sunlight, this way
the remedy will not go off.

Two drops at a time from a single remedy
stock bottle is what you always use ,
whether you are putting it in your mouth or
in a glass or in a treatment bottle.
Four drops at a time from your selected
mixed treatment bottle is the dose you
always use, at least four times a day.
Whether it is a pre-mixed crisis formula
from our online shop or a treatment bottle
you have mixed yourself.
Alternatively put the four drops into a
glass of water, and sip from that at
intervals. In a cup of tea or coffee, in a
juice or a soft drink or in food that you
know will be eaten. Simple!

No, there
is no chance of over dose with the Bach®
flower Remedies. The most
pharmaceutically active ingredient in the
bottle is the alcohol in the brandy which is
mixed in at 20%, the equivalent of 3mls of
alcohol in a 30ml bottle.

There is no benefit to
taking more than the recommended dose of 4
drops at a time from the treatment bottle;
but your remedy can be taken when needed and
as often as needed until you return to your
true self.

The law states the
stock bottles must have
a use-by date. The five year period relates
to the shelf life of brandy stored in a
rubber-topped bottle.
The remedies themselves will keep their
properties indefinitely (although the brandy
may begin to taste a little strange after
the five year period).

Someone
suggested this to Dr Bach , and he tried it
but found that it didn't work. The simplest
and most direct path was the one he
recommended - in other words, selection of
accurate remedies according to the
personality and emotional state.

Can the Remedies go through x-ray machines and so on without
been adversely affected?
Bach® system is fine to go through x-ray
machines. It is a common misunderstanding
and is caused by people assuming that the
remedies are 'the same as' homoeopathy.

Can the Bach® flower remedies be affected if they are stored
near aromatherapy oils?
No. Sometimes the preserve in the remedies used (normally
brandy) may be affected and may taste a little strange, but the action of the
remedies is not affected in any way.

Do you need to add alcohol to a treatment bottle?
Alcohol helps stop the water from going off. Many people add
some brandy or other strong spirit to a mixed bottle, especially if the bottle
will not be kept cool - if, say, they intend to carry it about in their pocket
all the time. A teaspoon of brandy - about 5mls - is enough. Other 'non-alcoholic' ways of keeping the contents fresh
include keeping the bottle in a fridge, or adding a teaspoon of cider vinegar or
vegetable glycerine

Are the Bach® Flowers safe to take if you are pregnant?
Yes, it is safe. The alcohol in the undiluted remedy can
usually be ignored as the amount in a dose is so small. However, if you have any
worries on this score we would always advise that you talk to your doctor or
midwife.
